Covenant for Peace, Climate Resilience and Clean Governance

#GREENBARMM2026 Campaign is the electoral, organizational, and Green Governance campaign initiative of the KaBalay Nature Party for the historic 2026 BARMM Parliamentary Elections.

The campaign is rooted in the belief that the future of the Bangsamoro must be built on the foundations of peace, sustainable livelihoods, environmental protection, climate resilience, democratic participation, and clean governance. As BARMM enters its first full parliamentary democratic transition, GREENBARMM2026 seeks to help shape a peaceful, climate-resilient, and prosperous Bangsamoro led by empowered communities and principled public leadership.

The initiative advances four core principles:

Kapayapaan • Kabuhayan • Kalikasan • Malinis na Pamamahala

GREENBARMM2026 is not merely an electoral endorsement project. It is a long-term movement-building effort designed to help organize grassroots Green Governance structures across BARMM. Through online assemblies, volunteer organizing, social media mobilization, policy education, and public engagement activities, the campaign seeks to form the first KaBalay BARMM Green Volunteer Network and lay the groundwork for the future KaBalay BARMM Regional Council and local chapters.

The campaign supports Green Candidates and political forces willing to commit themselves to a Green Covenant centered on peace-building, climate resilience, anti-corruption, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture and fisheries, cooperative development, youth empowerment, women’s participation, and community-centered development.

GREENBARMM2026 recognizes that BARMM remains among the most climate-vulnerable and economically challenged regions in the Philippines. Flooding, displacement, environmental degradation, poverty, weak infrastructure, and the long legacy of conflict continue to affect millions of Bangsamoro people. The campaign therefore promotes a model of Green Governance where peace and environmental sustainability are directly connected to economic security, social justice, and democratic empowerment.

The initiative will culminate in the proposed GREEN BARMM 2026: Covenant for Peace, Climate Resilience and Clean Governance Regional Assembly in Cotabato City, where volunteers, community leaders, youth organizers, reform advocates, and Green Candidates shall gather to formally launch the movement and sign a shared covenant for a greener and more democratic Bangsamoro.

GREENBARMM2026 invites all Bangsamoro voters, Moro reform advocates, youth leaders, women leaders, farmers, fisherfolk, cooperatives, professionals, climate advocates, peace advocates, and grassroots organizations to join this historic effort.
